I really would have to say the person who truly does inspire me has to be the 14th Dalai Lama. He's an incredible man who plays on the Theraveda Buddhist beliefs and is truly a good natured man who fights for peace for his country and for mankind. Not with violence but with straightforward facts of kindness. A man with a true sense of humor and a patience that is unmatched. This man has confquered the tranquility of life and I just wish I could reach the state of happiness he has managed to reach. I just ache to thank him for his vision of life. A true personified Buddha.
